Are You Ready to Convert?
In a recently aired video, Al Qaida's second-in-command Ayman al-Zawahri introduced a speaker, Azzam the American, who invited all non-Muslims, especially in the United States, to convert to Islam and to abandon their 'misguided' ways or suffer the consequences. He called for "...repent and enter into the light of Islam and turn their swords against the enemies of God..." Continued...

Kurdistan, The Road to Independence.
The Kurds are a culture spanning many nation states and face many conflicts within each in the quest to survive and gain statehood. MEIC will present Kurdistan, The Road to Independence featuring the history and struggle surviving in a geographical nightmare using maps and interviews and analysis on the future and prospects for independence.
Update: Jan. 18th, 2007 - the project is still in progress and MEIC hopes to complete it sometime in 2007.
