Muslim Kurds Attack Assyrian Businesses in North Iraq

(AINA) -- Muslim Kurds attacked at least 20 liquor stores, 3 casinos and 1 Chinese massage parlor in the predominantly Assyrian town of Zakho, in north Iraq. The liquor stores are owned mostly by Assyrians. The attacks began on Friday afternoon, immediately after the end of Friday prayers at the Mosque. The Islamic Union of Kurdistan is believed to be responsible for the attacks.

Video on youtube shows smoke rising and people congregating near the targeted areas.

Angry protesters attacked the office of the Islamic Union of Kurdistan in retaliation for the attacks on the liquor stores and casinos.

This proves that Kurdish authorities in the north of Iraq are loosing control, and this is coming on the eve of American forces leaving Iraq soon. What is going to happen to Assyrian Christians in Iraq? Where are they going to go next? North is Burning, God only knows, they are living in an ocean of Islamic fundamentalist, whom are thirsty for their blood!

*Simko was a Kurdish tribal leader like Barazani and Talabani, who massacred hundred of Christian Assyrians in Ottoman Turkey in the 18 century, now we see he is back.
