feel free to edit and input what you all think about what would be an ideal country for the Assyrians.
This is what i think would be great for the Assyrians. Some of Iraq,Turkey,Iran, and Syria.

I know its overlapping other countries but i figured, Assyrian's have been in those countries long before anyone else. And After Turk's and Kurd's committed Genocide in 1915, Assyrian's shall be fully compensated and get restitution. The future awaits

Well that would be great, unfortunataly its far from reality cause Assyrians would be a minoirty in their State. Seems to be an area which covers around 7 million people out of those max 1 mio Assyrians.

i believe if they have enough security in each state, Assyrians from all around the world would come back to Assyria. This would be a tough agenda.

lets exaggerate it abit....so to give a good illustration

lets say Assyrians number 6-7 millions out of those 70% are in diaspora (everything out of the area you marked).

So if all those move to the area there will be around some 13-14 million people there beeing 40% Assyrians and 60% non Assyrian muslims. what do you want to do with them? try to pay them of so they settle in areas outside?

We would face havy problems with Kurds, Turks, Arabs, Azeris and Persians. icon_biggrin.gif If you have a very strong army go for it...but since that is not the case..its really hard....

It's kind of difficult to expect Assyrians that have lived abroad for such a long time to return and live under medieval Islam, which is the case here. It's kind of hard to escape from Islamic influence/interference with our people. Personally, I would only go back if they practiced a secular ruling. Religion is never a good thing when it's brought out into the public, especially a religion like Islam where half of the Islamic community cannot practice it properly and cannot modernise it to some extent.
